Andarta Pictures, founded in 2017 and based in Bourg-lès-Valence, is currently in production on the animated series "La Quête d'Ewilan." This adaptation of Pierre Bottero's successful trilogy will consist of eight 26-minute episodes. The series is scheduled for delivery in mid-2025.
Meanwhile, Andarta Pictures is developing a new animated series called "5 Mondes" (or "Five Worlds" in English). This adaptation of the eponymous literary saga, written by Mark and Alexis Siegel and illustrated by Xanthe Bouma, Matt Rockefeller, and Boya Sun, was selected by Cartoon Forum. Aimed at children and pre-teens, this science fiction series is planned for two seasons: the first of eight 26-minute episodes, and the second of twelve 26-minute episodes.
These two projects illustrate Andarta Pictures' commitment to bringing coming-of-age stories to younger generations, immersing them in original, fantastical worlds. The studio makes a point of involving fan communities in the creative process, thus fostering a collaborative and participatory approach.
