Each banner in Ewilan’s Quest holds much more than a simple logo or sketch representing a region or a people. The banner must tell the story of the past, but above all, it must attest to the present. It speaks of its inhabitants, its strengths, and its weaknesses. Hidden within each banner is a story. Click on the keychain of your choice to discover its meaning.
ILLUSTRATORS

The circular shape of the emblems of the guilds concerned with Imagination symbolizes how this dimension has neither beginning nor end. It evokes the protective aspect that Imagination has over the represented know-how, like a shield defending Art itself.
Here, for the artists, the border is gold, indicating a particular hierarchy and belonging to a lineage of artists descended from the great Merwyn. There is a certain nobility in being part of this guild.
Unsurprisingly, we find the three forces that make up the art of drawing: willpower in red, creativity in blue, and power in yellow. The black circle, which is usually only found in books, represents absolute power.
The arabesques between the circles emphasize the primary function of this art, which is protection. The lozenges, meanwhile, symbolize creation born from the Imagination, like a flame materializing before your eyes.

DREAMERS

The circular shape of the emblems of the guilds concerned with Imagination symbolizes how this dimension has neither beginning nor end. It evokes the protective aspect that Imagination has over the represented know-how, like a shield defending Art itself.
The shades of blue were chosen here to express serenity and tranquility. They also evoke water, an element present at over 60% in the bodies that dreamers are healing.
We are in a guild somewhat outside of time whose function is to heal. Their dreams, represented here in golden curves, come to repair the straight line, here a symbol of wounds.
This guild is formed over years, and each stage of learning is represented by a circle. Here, seven ascending circles symbolize the seven stages of knowledge. An eighth circle, the one surrounding the emblem, completes this symbolism of ultimate knowledge, of the greatest secrets revealed. And what if one of them were revealed to you?
The Dragon and Imagination are closely linked, as our heroes will discover, but have you also noticed, woven into the adventures, that the Lady and Dream are also intertwined? The Lady who heals, the Lady who soothes wounds, the Lady who moves in water as dreams move in wounded bodies—this is a profound revelation. The Dragon and the Lady, Imagination and Dream, so complementary yet so different, so connected yet so independent. With this line of thought launched, the whale's tail is revealed at the heart of this emblem, ready to give new impetus to this discreet but imposing and majestic guild, like the Lady.
