The Quest for Ewilan
Founded in 2017 and based in Bourg-lès-Valence, Andarta Pictures has spent several years working on a project that is very close to our hearts: adapting Pierre Bottero's trilogy for new generations. This dream has now come to life in the form of The Quest for Ewilan , an eight-episode animated series of 26-minute episodes.
Since February 14, 2026, Ewilan and her companions have finally opened the gates of Gwendalavir on the screens of France Télévisions (Okoo, France 4), RTBF (Auvio) in Belgium, and RTS (Play RTS) in Switzerland. Watch the episodes on France.tv
5 Worlds — Our next trip
The adventure doesn't end in Gwendalavir. In parallel, we are developing 5 Worlds , a new animated series adapted from the eponymous literary saga by Mark and Alexis Siegel, illustrated by Xanthe Bouma, Matt Rockefeller and Boya Sun.
Selected for the Cartoon Forum, this science-fiction epic for children and pre-teens will unfold over two seasons: the first, eight 26-minute episodes; the second, twelve episodes to further extend the journey.
These two projects reflect what deeply motivates us: to bring coming-of-age stories to younger generations, to immerse them in meaningful fantasy universes, and to build together — with you, with the fans — worlds that last.
